Media Alert: Pediped Footwear Launches New Rewards Program + Sale!

We knew we already loved pediped footwear and told you all about why, here, but they have won our hearts again with their latest announcement! 

Beginning January 5 pediped^® footwear will host a Purchases with Purpose Sale to benefit the pediped foundation™.  During the fundraiser which will run through February 5, select styles available on the pediped website, will be marked down as much as 50 percent.  Half of the sales from the selected styles will be donated to the pediped foundation™ to help children in need. 

We love them for their footwear but also for their big hearts!

In addition to kicking off the New Year with the “Purchases with Purpose” sale, pediped® announces the launch of the pediped® Rewards program.  Customers who make a purchase on www.pediped.com are automatically enrolled in the pediped® Rewards program, which allows for them to earn cumulative rewards for every purchase they make

Cara owns a shop called Cloth & Crown on Etsy and is the designer of the adorable outfit that our little model was wearing in our Merry Christmas, Santa Baby photo. We can't say enough how much we LOVE Cara and her work. She is super sweet and fun to work with. {Tell us about yourself and your business.}

HI! My name is Cara Crowley and I am the founder of Cloth & Crown. I have another full time job and I have two teenage sons who inspire me every day. I come from a long line of people who love creating with their hands. My sweet mom taught me to crochet and sew when I was a little girl and instilled in me a love of all things crafty. She also makes items you see in my shop. I love being able to walk this adventure with her! Life can dish out a lot of 'hard and serious' for so many of us and we need more love and fun. This is why I love to mix the classic with the whimsical in my designs.

Cloth & Crown sells unique handmade baby products such as hats and shoes. We make a lot of items for photographers to use in their photo sessions and for a lot of moms wanting unique items for their sweet babies. In a world of mass production where products are made ever more cheaply each year, we strive to ensure each item is of the highest quality and perfectly made for the precious little ones who will be wearing them.

{What is your favorite part about having your Etsy shop?}

I love every aspect of the business. I love the personal aspect of working directly with my customers to create their items and hearing about their little ones or babies on the way. I love being able to just be free and create. Love getting feedback and photos from customers of their baby wearing one of my products. I adore working with my mom and seeing her talent on display. I have also been so blessed by who has crossed my path because of the shop. I have loved meeting and working with Avery Grace Photography. She is so sweet and amazingly talented - her photos help sell my products and I'm so grateful.

{When did you know you wanted to open your shop, Cloth & Crown?}

Cloth & Crown actually came about a year or so ago. I was creating gifts for all my friends and family members who were expecting. After lot of encouragement and a little pushing from loved ones, I took the risk and opened up shop! I couldn't be more grateful for them. I am loving every minute of it!

{What can we look forward to in the future from you?}

I have so many ideas on what to do next!! I have a spring line rolling out full of new cute and cuddly items. I am working on a 100% organic line too! I also will be adding more knitted items. Love knitted products! I have three shows the first quarter of the year at Project Mom Conferences - I can't wait to meet all the moms in attendance! Plus, I really want to get the blog up and running, but we shall see! =)

We are happy to introduce to you, Chelsea and her company Chelsea Baby! Some of the cutest baby shoes & hair bows we have seen! Many of the shoes & headbands have a snap on feature so you can change out the accessories for a new look! Lucky for us, we had a little cyber chat with Chelsea to find out all the details on Chelsea Baby! 

{Tell us about yourself and your business, Chelsea Baby.}


I attended the Fashion Institute of Technology for Accessory Design and there was taught how to create shoes and handbags from the bottom up. While attending FIT in interned for the DONGHIA NYC  Showroom and fell in love with their product and sense of luxury that the textile industry evoked. After FIT I was asked to represent DONGHIA as an outside sales representative. I was thrilled! I lived in NYC for the next three and a half years representing the DONGHIA line and then was asked to manage a showroom at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago so I left NYC and took another leap. From Chicago I came back to my roots and was asked to represent the Scherping Westphal Showroom at International Market Square. Where for the next four and a half years I would travel the five state Midwest Region selling textiles such as Clarence House, Osborne & Little, Designers Guild etc... If you are familiar with any of these designers you know where I get my inspiration from! These lines are filled with the most amazing colors and patterns and are always on the cutting edge! After working with designers for the majority of my career I thought to myself.. I am a designer too and I am going to start my own line. So that's just what I did. I made it happen. The journey has been the most amazing experience of my life. I believe that people come into your life for a reason. if you don't acknowledge them or the fact that they were placed before you then its an opportunity missed. I have had many serendipidous moments  throughout building the Chelsea Baby brand and I have enveloped them all with open arms. I could not have done it without my family and my "G" we are, and have been on a great path and I am so excited for what the future holds. 

{What inspired the name?}


Chelsea Baby is a catchy name for a company and can pertain to many different products without sounding too juvenile. All of the Chelsea Baby shoes are named after people that I LOVE and have been influential in my life. Some of the names are a bit crazy I know but that's just how I wanted my collection to be represented. The best feature of the shoes is the Chelsea Baby Logo which is de bossed on the bottom of each and every Chelsea Baby shoe. The logo which is TM is designed after my Nana's antique broach, which my very talented brother Brooks designed! Now that is GENUINE! 

{You recently extended the line with headbands. What made you decide to bring them on? LOVE them by the way.}

We want to constantly be evolving as a brand and make everything we create  interchangeable luxurious and whimsical. The headbands were a great addition to our collection because they appeal to the new born baby, the toddler, older sister and even tween! The headbands make fabulous pony tail holders too, just twist around and snap on one of our Bouquets and you have another look!

{What is your best seller?}

Our most popular shoes and accessory sales change form week to week. For awhile the BOW-WOW shoes were selling like crazy and then when we landed the OK Magazine article where Jessica Alba had the SHELLY shoes we couldn't keep them is stock!  PRESS is also a big factor in the popularity of our brand.  Our clients have gone crazy for the snap on and off option that Chelsea Baby has to offer. Every Mom loves the fact that they can buy one pair of shoes and add on bow ties or bouquets for a plethora of different looks. The fact that our shoes are MACHINE WASHABLE makes our product shine in the eyes of Moms! Babies shoes get yucky, and being that our shoes are made with only the highest quality materials makes them a best seller in every way!

{What is up next for you?}

Chelsea Baby is currently working on Signature onsies with interchangeble snap on and off options and the most luxurious Baptism Collection you have ever seen! Going forward we would love to add diaper bags, blankets  and cribbing!
