More Fisher Price Love

I don't know where I'd be these days without my Fisher-Price SpaceSaver High Chair. The nifty little booster seat/high chair combo will save you money {since you'll only have to buy just this one seat rather than a high chair then booster later} and is so super convenient! Like any other booster seat, this high chair hooks around a regular dining chair via two sets of adjustable straps.

The Fisher-Price SpaceSaver High Chair offers all the same great benefits of a regular sized high chair but doesn't take up any extra space! The seat cover is spill resistant, removable, and machine washable which is a definite MUST when you have a messy little one learning to feed themselves. The seat reclines to 3 different positions for different stages of baby's development. Recline all the way back for your youngest babe who is just learning what eating vs drinking is all about, sit semi-upright or fully upright for babes who are more advanced.

I love that this in-chair high chair comes with a removable, dishwasher safe tray. When I'm feeding my 11 month old her breakfast each morning, I remove the tray for easy access. When my little munchkin needs a snack or to be kept occupied, I snap the tray in place and let her explore, picking up her foods all on her own!

When your little babe gets to be a bigger babe, the back comes off of the SpaceSaver High Chair to become a full booster seat {with adjustable height} to make him or her feel like the big kid they are and sit with the family at the table.

Fisher-Price has really gone over the top with the SpaceSaver High Chair and we give it two thumbs up!

Amazing Toys from Fisher Price!

From the desk of | Debbie Watts

Fisher Price is always one of our favorite brands due to the versatility in their products. They have so many wonderful items we just can't cover them all, but today there are two toys that we'd like to focus on and share with you. The Fisher Price Big Action Construction Site and the Kid-Tough See Yourself Camera, have both caught our attention and won our hearts. Your little babes will have endless fun with these awesome toys from Fisher Price.

The Fisher Price Big Action Construction Site comes with a remote control dump truck {that even works on carpet!} for hours of endless fun for your babes.

The remote is easy to use for little hands, with arrows to direct the vehicle where to go in 4 different directions. We really couldn't ask for anything more. Each arrow is a different color which coordinates to a color on the dump truck which makes it easy for little ones to direct the truck and helps your little babes learn their colors while having fun. SO fab!

The dump truck slows down at turns for easier control maneuvering around the construction site where there are several easy guide ramps to help keep the truck on track making this toy super easy and fun for the littlest of babes. These two features alone are a must-have, but it doesn't even end there! Fisher Price is simple ah-mazing!

Little ones will love pretending to build something amazing with the Fisher Price Big Action Construction Site using the crane to pick up boulders and load them into the auto-hopper then dumping them into the dump truck to transport up and down the automatic elevator. When play-time is done, park the dump truck in the parking area for next time. This set retails for $60 and will be one of your child's favorite toys along with the additional vehicles that can be purchased separately for added fun!

This video demo from the Fisher Price website shows how fun the Big Action Construction Site can be for even the smallest babes.

Another great toy from Fisher Price is the Kid-Tough See Yourself Camera. Little ones are exposed to picture taking from a very young age. They see us always trying to snap their photo and before long they are wanting to be the one behind the camera. That can sometimes be an uneasy thought when you consider their little hands losing their grip on your expensive camera or sticky fingers leaving a mess. With the Fisher Price Kid-Tough See Yourself Camera, those worries go out the window. Fisher Price has been making the Kid-Tough camera for quite a while now, but the latest updates make the See Yourself version of the Kid-Tough Camera, their very best so far. Fisher Price always succeeds in making their toys easy for little ones to use and the Kid-Tough See Yourself Camera is no exception.

With big buttons and child friendly - no read controls, your little babe can figure their way around this camera in no time {whew!}. The 1.8" color screen allows children to view the pictures and videos they've taken and make tons of adorable edits, if they so choose, using the special affects and stampers that are included in the Kid-Tough See Yourself Camera. So much fun!!There are so many wonderful features such as the 4x Digital Zoom, 1,000 picture memory, SD card slot for added memory,  a wrist strap, and the amazing no-flash technology which allows the camera to take great pictures even when the lighting is not-so-great.

The best features of all which make this camera a must-have for every little one are the durability and the rotating lens. The words "Kid-Tough" are of course used to describe the fact that this camera is made to take a beating from your babes. Unlike your expensive, professional grade camera, the Fisher Price Kid-Tough See Yourself Camera will bounce right back from a fall!

The rotating lens can face forward to take pictures of the scene in front of your babe, or flip 180 degrees backward so they can take a self-portrait! They will spend hours on end, entertaining themselves taking pictures and videos of themselves and their surroundings and will love you oh-so-much for finally allowing them to play photographer! The Fisher Price Kid-Tough See Yourself Camera retails for $70 which is an impeccable price for something so durable!

Fisher Price iXL - SO fab!

Written by Amber

Looking for an age-appropriate alternative to the iPod touch for your pre-school babes? Well the Fisher Price iXL is the perfect solution! My daughter hasn’t put hers down since she got it for Christmas.

The Fisher Price iXL will be your little babes' {first} 6-in-1 digital learning system. Here are the amazing features:

1. Digital Game Player - Includes a 3-level arcade style game that teaches numbers, sequencing and counting. Your babes will have fun climbing ladders to collect bananas with this game.

2. eBook Reader - 1 animated story with 15 pages. In the read to me mode you simply listen to the story with animation. However, in the interact with me mode you can flip the pages forward and backward, interrupt the story and use the touch screen to make some the animations come to life.

3. Notepad - Trace upper and lower case letters as well as numbers. This will help your babes learn how to write their name in no time!

4. Digital Art Book - The included Art Studio software allows your babes to draw and manipulate art. It includes things such as colors, stampers, bucket fills, and pen styles.

5. MP3 Music Player - The iXL comes preloaded with 1 song. Any songs from your iTunes library can easily be uploaded to it. **Note** This is the only learning device on the market that has MP3 capability!

6. Photo Viewer - 3 generic sample images are available, but you can add any photo in the standard .jpg format to the iXL. Photos can also be manipulated in the Art Studio with silly effects. I’m sure your babes will find it hilarious to add a mustache to Mom’s face!

The Fisher Price iXL is available in 3 different colors {pink, blue, & silver} has a 3.5" TFT QVGA color screen {bigger than a Nintendo DS} with built in speaker, action button, attached stylus, headphone jack, SD memory card slot, and built-in memory to hold the base and additional software titles, songs, and pictures. The best thing yet, as opposed to other similar learning game systems, the iXL doesn’t require those pesky, easily lost cartridges!

Fisher Price currently offers 15 software titles for the iXL which include our little babes' favorite characters Disney Princess, Mickey Mouse Club House {our personal fav}, SpongeBob SquarePants, and Toy Story 3. They also offer multiple {must-have} accessories, such as, the iXL durable storage case {$25} and the recharging station {$35 and highly recommended}.

We couldn’t love this learning system anymore! The Fisher Price iXL retails for $59.99 and is totally worth it! It’ll be sure to keep your babes occupied during car rides, doctors appointments, and even during grocery store trips. If you haven’t purchased yours yet, head over to the Fisher Price website and buy one today!
